Police Brutality At Humble ISD: Who Is The Officer That Assaulted Essence Prince???

When I was contacted by Ebony Dawson on Saturday regarding that brutal incident between her and the officer pictured to the left.  Initially I didnt have acces to the officer's identity until yesterday when I found out that the incident took place at Humble High School and that Ms. Dawson was not given any reports that was filed in relation to the incident involving Essence. Not only was this information presented to me insightful, but another student has come forward with evidence of the same officer assulting them (the new witness) too. I will not reveal that information right now to build a case in court against this officer.

Humble ISD and Humble High have clearly taken to using the prison guard approach toward these Black students. Do they have implicit bias and cultural competency trainings? What are the proceedures required to handle situations of student altercations? Why would an officer slam a 16 year old girl in this manner? Is this common place and maybe the truth is this is the one time they got caught in their racist mistreatment of Black students? There should be some serious investigations into hiring policies, training policies and procedures to find out what is really happening.

Before you go on a tear about how this isn't racism because he is a Brown person, consider that anti - Blacknes among NON BLACK People of Color is a very real thing. ESPECIALLY, when they put that uniform on and toe that thin blue line they love so much. Humble ISD the ball is in your court, produce probable cause for the level of force used, share the police report and be transparent.
